Simple Frame Fillers for the low volume filling of non-hazardous materials.
We offer Simple Frame Big Bag Fillers for those applications which meet some or all of the following criteria. They are of particular interest to companies using bulk bags as an onsite means of storing and/or transferring raw materials, semi-processed or finished products:
- Control of the flow is by way of the feeder, conveyor or other means of delivery.
- Either an operator is continually available to monitor the fill progress or the means of delivery operates on a timer or is transferring pre-weighed batches.
- No weights and measures guarantees are required.
- Only a few bags are to be filled per day.
- The product de-aerates well and therefore requires no means of compaction or alternatively the rate of usage is so low that the bags can be left to hang until stable. Unstable bags containing aerated material can fall over and thus be dangerous.
Our Simple Frame Big Bag Fillers are robust and can be constructed from epoxy painted carbon steel or stainless steel as the environment dictates. Big bag unloading can be by fork lift truck or pallet truck.
The inflatable filling seal ensures no mess and no leakage of dust to the atmosphere. Provision is made to connect the filling head to a dust filter to remove material carried away in the stream of displaced air. Filtration is unnecessary for dust free granular materials such as certain plastics.
Spiroflow will only offer Simple Frame Big Bag Fillers for those applications where we are confident of their suitability. We have so much experience that the design of even our simplest support frames benefit from this. Gone are the days where a local fabricator or a company's engineering team can 'knock up' a simple bulk bag filler support frame. These can never match the safety, reliable filling and containment offered by the specialist supplier and demanded by today's practices and legislation.
