Spiroflow Systems, a leader in the bulk handling industry, recently worked on a project to help recycle waste materials, including recycled plastic water bottles, into first quality recycled polyester fiber. Spiroflow worked on this material handling project with Unifi Inc., a leading producer of polyester and nylon yarns. Unifi developed Repreve, a recycled fiber made from pre-consumer waste and recycled water bottles that can be used just like fiber made from virgin materials. Repreve is a recycled ingredient that makes consumer products sustainable, and can be found in many products such as clothing, auto interiors, tote bags, and home furnishings. […]

The company, known for their bulk material handling equipment, had filed for bankruptcy on March 20, 2013. Spiroflow Systems acquired all company assets on April 12, 2013. Spiroflow Systems, Inc. announces the acquisition of a new 109,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Located at 1609 Airport Road, Monroe, NC and adjacent to the Charlotte Monroe Executive Airport, this expansive new building will house manufacturing, engineering, test lab, executive, sales, service and administrative departments. This significantly larger facility provides Spiroflow Systems with the increased space required for their current and future needs. The company’s line of material handling solutions will be manufactured here including their Cableflow™ and Dynaflow™ Tubular Drag Conveyors. The property also provides for Spiroflow’s expanding production of the Pacepacker range of bagging and robotic palletizing solutions.

Spiroflow Systems, Inc., has increased its service to a customer that manufactures sweet drinks in Ghana, West Africa. They will provide a Spiroflow Aero Mechanical Conveyor to load sugar into a tank where syrup is produced by Kasapreko Company Ltd., the manufacturer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Spiroflow works through its local representative, West Africa Pumping Services Ltd. West Africa Pumping Services Ltd. is a pumping solutions company based in Ghana and Nigeria, Africa.
