Spiroflow Hosts Best In Class Field Training

Spiroflow Systems hosted an advanced training program for Field Representatives this week.  More than 50 people from across North and South America joined us at our headquarters in Monroe, NC.  The program included detailed technical training on our complete line of mechanical conveying, bulk bag filling, bulk bag unloading, automatic bagging, robotic palletizing and automation solutions.

Along with class time  there was a tour of Spiroflow Systems’ new 109,000 sq. ft. smoke free manufacturing facility including corporate offices, engineering, controls lab, production, welding area, paint room, test lab, warehouse, shipping, receiving and in-house training facility.

Participants spent ample time in Spiroflow’s new test lab to see the company’s bulk material handling solutions in action.  They observed the CTE and C1-2 Bulk Bag Fillers in operation along with the Flo 60 and T3 Loss-in-weight bulk bag unloaders.  Flexible Screw Conveyors, Aero Mechanical Conveyors, Cableflow® Tubular Cable Drag Conveyors, Dynaflow® Tubular Chain Drag Conveyors were all demonstrated as were the Spiro-Bin Activator and Bulk Bag Conditioner.

Nearly a full day was also dedicated to Advanced Sales Training lead by Mr. John Boyens of the Boyens Group.  This type of professional development is unusual in the industry particularly for a group of seasoned sales people but feedback was overwhelmingly positive.  CEO Jeff Dudas commented, ‘This was a significant investment but we are committed to our field sales representatives and want to invest in their success.’

At the close of the three day program CEO, Jeff Dudas, along with VP of Sales & Marketing, Mathias Lee, shared a review of 2013 performance.  They recognized Protech Equipment Company for outstanding sales performance as the top Field Representative firm in 2013.  Tony Kniffen of Approtec Ran Le was recognized as the top individual Field Sales Representative in 2013.  Josh Graves accepted the award on behalf of Mr. Kniffen.

Attendees commented that the program was very well run and content was right on target.  Mr.  André Voizard, President of Vision Solutions, said it best, ‘This was one of the best training programs I have experienced in my career.’
