UK Test Facility Conducts Factory Acceptance Test for Innovative Solutions
Our newly established facility in Darwen, UK, has produced equipment for a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), showcasing bulk bag unloading equipment alongside Cablevey systems. This test was for a customer requiring precise conveyance and material unloading solutions.
Engineered Solutions Ensure Quality, Capacity, and Compliance
During the FAT, our team of engineers utilised three Spiroflow Type 6 bulk bag dischargers in conjunction with a 6-inch Cablevey tubular drag conveyor. This combination demonstrated exceptional quality and capacity, tailored to meet specific bespoke requirements. All equipment is designed to ensure comprehensive compliance with Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs) while minimising the risk of contamination from external sources.
Custom-Designed Bulk Bag Dischargers Promote Safety and Hygiene
The bulk bag dischargers are custom designed to seamlessly integrate into existing production areas, prioritising safety and hygiene. Each discharger is equipped with an integral “I” beam hoist, facilitating the effortless loading of bulk bags directly into the discharger, which is connected to the conveyor system. Furthermore, the integrated sealed glove boxes allow for safe manipulation of materials, protecting workers from exposure to any potentially hazardous compounds.
All equipment is fabricated from crevice-free stainless steel, featuring smooth, ridge-free internal surfaces that promote hygienic conditions and facilitate efficient material flow from the FIBC bulk bags. The entire system also incorporates several transparent connection points, enhancing accessibility for observation and adjustments during the FAT.
